Known Issue - Third-party tools do not work in Google Chrome browser

Problem

Users may get an error message when accessing third-party tools, or not be able to access third-party tools, when using the Google Chrome browser.

More information

Starting January 2024, Google will roll out changes to its Chrome browser, restricting all third-party cookies by default. In January, a random 1% of all Chrome users will receive this change, called “Tracking Protection.” The change will be rolled out to all users throughout 2024.

Solution

When Chrome blocks an integrated tool, follow these steps to adjust your Tracking Protection settings:

  1. In the address bar of the browser, click on the eye icon that appears.

  2. Select the toggle for Third-party cookies.

  3. Click the X button to exit the Tracking Protection box and reload the page.
