Solution

Uninstall Google Chrome from your computer.

Mac

1. At the bottom of your computer screen, in your Dock, right-click Chrome.

2. Select Quit.

3. Open Finder. Go to the folder containing the Google Chrome application on your computer.

   1. Tip: It may be in your Applications folder. If not, go to File  Find, and search for "Google Chrome."

4. Drag Google Chrome to the Trash.

5. Optional (best practice): Delete your profile information, like bookmarks and history:

   1. At the top of the screen, click Go > Go to Folder.

   2. Enter ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome.

   3. Click Go.

   4. Select all the folders, and drag them to the Trash.

Windows 11

1. On your computer, close all Chrome windows.

2. Click Start menu (Windows icon), then select Settings.

3. Click Apps and then Apps & features.

4. Next to Google Chrome, click More and then click Uninstall.

5. Click Uninstall.

6. To allow this app to make changes to your device, click Yes.
