How do I copy a single test to another Blackboard course?
You can export and import tests, surveys, and pools to use in other courses or share with other instructors.
Export a test, survey, or pool
In the course that has the test:
On the bottom-left menu, choose Course Tools. Select Tests, Surveys, and Pools.
Choose Test, Survey, or Pool to access a list of a particular set of items for this course.
Example: On the Tests page, click the arrow button to access the menu for a test.
On the menu, choose Export to Local Computer. This will download a ZIP file to your computer. Note: Do not unzip the file.
Import a test, survey, or pool
In the course where you want to copy the test to:
On the bottom-left menu, choose Course Tools. Select Tests, Surveys, and Pools.
Choose Tests, Surveys, or Pools to access a list of a particular set of items.
Example: On the Tests page, click Import.
On the Import page, browse for the file from your computer. Choose the ZIP file.
Click Submit.
This process will add the test to the Tests, Surveys, and Pools area. It will not launch the test in this course. You will need to add the test to a content area for students to see it. View this article: How do I deploy a test in a Blackboard content area?
