How do I create a journal in a Blackboard Ultra course?

You can provide a link to a journal near related content. Add a prompt to set expectations and guidelines to get students off to a good start.

Instructions

1. On the Course Content page, select the plus sign wherever you want to add a journal.

2. Select Create and select Journal at the bottom of the list.

3. Name the discussion and add text where “What do you want students to focus on?” displays.

4. Click the gear image in the top right corner to change the journal settings, and save setting when they are complete.

5. Click Save when finished editing journal.
